We have designed and manufactured a Energy Meter Calibration System for calibration of Energy Metering Applications in the manufacturing process. The customer was calibrating the Metering Systems using a manual process which was time consuming and prone to errors. They were recording the data manually and shifting it to an Excel Sheet for digitization. For small volumes this process made sense, however as their production volumes grew it became difficult to maintain this manual process.
Our team at AxoNet created a full automatic calibration setup that comprised of a programmable voltage and current source to power up and load the metering system. A bespoke hardware and software interfaced with the calibration setup to set the voltage and current values to be able to perform multi point calibration on the system and generate a report with details like Pass / Fail , Electrical Parameters with error percentages, time stamps, log events and create production reports for traceability.
